It will be issued quarterly and will include our latest Grants news, as well as other developments in the sector. We are delighted to mark our tenth anniversary in 2010 and we have lots of exciting plans for the future. Finally, please let us know how we can improve this newsletter in any way.

The Search is on for Ireland’s Philanthropist of the Year 2010!

These awards publicly recognise people whose personal money has made an outstanding and lasting contribution in their communities and to society. Linkage Service Annual Report 2009

The Linkage Service is a social inclusion programme of our sister organisation, Business in the Community Ireland. Funded by Probation Service, this nationwide initiative assists former offenders to enter employment or access further training and education. The 2009 annual report is an interactive guide to the Service and within the report you will find 8 short video clips which both bring the work to life and enhance the readers understanding of the Service. Visible Lives Research Project

Visible Lives is a research project that aims to explore the lives, experiences and needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in Ireland who are aged 55 and over. This study is commissioned by the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network (GLEN) and funded by Age and Opportunity and the HSE. For more information and to take part see www.visiblelives.ie

ATS has launched an initiative whereby they will donate a phone system, handsets and voicemail system to schools, charities & not for profit organisations. The only cost is a small installation fee per system. See www.ats.ie
